    OB Care

    Dr. Beim is a physician who supports his patients individual wants and needs above anything else. He prioritizes the patient experience and understands the importance of ensuring patients are making their own decisions with his professional guidance. I recently gave birth via c-section, when I wanted to avoid a c-section at all costs - Dr. Beim was aware of this. However, after laboring for over 48 hours after my water breaking with 0 progress, Dr. Beim presented me with 2 options: to continue on the same path since myself and my baby were still doing well and were stable (although he felt substantial progress would not be made for a vaginal delivery, informed there is an increased risk for infection, or myself or my baby becoming unstable), OR opt to receive a c-section while we were both doing well - regardless, it was my choice. In the end, I opted for the c-section; at the end of the day, I wanted a non-traumatic birth experience, and I was guided to that decision knowing Dr. Beim did all he could to ensure I received the birth experience I originally wanted. When the plans took a turn he still put my best interest and desires first, and I was still able to have a beautiful birth experience.
